เนื่องด้วยการเผชิญกับการระบาดครั้งใหญ่จากโควิดในปีที่ผ่านมา ทำให้ส่งผลกระทบต่อผู้ป่วยโรคไตเป็นอย่างมากเนื่องจากการรักษาเข้าถึงได้ยากขึ้น เพราะศูนย์ส่วนใหญ่ในประเทศไทยไม่อนุญาตให้ผู้ป่วยโควิด เข้ารับการรักษาแบบปกติได้

บี. บราวน์ ประเทศไทย ที่มีความมุ่งมั่นในการร่วมปกป้องและพัฒนาสุขภาพของผู้คน จึงผนึกกำลังโรงพยาบาลธนบุรี บำรุงเมือง รับผู้ป่วยโรคไตที่ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 เข้ารับการรักษา ตั้งแต่กันยายน 2564  ณ ศูนย์ฟอกไต โรงพยาบาลสนามมณฑลทหารบกที่ 11 (มทบ.11) แจ้งวัฒนะ กรุงเทพมหานคร

และโรงพยาบาลสนามนี้ได้ทำการปิดลงในวันที่ 14 กรกฎาคมที่ผ่านมา เนื่องด้วยสถานการณ์ที่คลี่คลายลง จึงขอขอบคุณผู้ที่มีความเกี่ยวข้องทุกท่านในการร่วมปกป้องและพัฒนาสุขภาพครั้งนี้ โดยเฉพาะบุคคลากรทางการแพทย์ที่มุ่งมั่นในการดูแลรักษาผู้ป่วยท่ามกลางสถานการณ์นี้เป็นอย่างดี

B. Braun Thailand and Thonburi Bumrungmuang Hospital are thankful to healthcare professional, Kidney Friends Association of Thailand and all team for their commitment and dedication to overcome the COVID pandemic together.

Last year with the big wave of Covid with the number of Covid-19 patients increasing was very challenging for renal care patients because most renal centers in Thailand do not allow Covid-19 patients to get treatment with normal patients.

B. Braun Thailand reaffirmed our commitment to protect and improve the health of people and collaborated with Thonburi Bumrungmuang Hospital to start a Renal Dialysis Center since September 2021. To provide dialysis treatments to Covid-19 patients following international standards at Army Field Hospital 11th, Changwattana, Bangkok.

With decreasing COVID cases in Thailand, we were happy to close the renal center on 14th of July,2022.
