ประเทศไทยกำลังเผชิญกับการระบาดระรอกใหม่ครั้งใหญ่ของโรคระบาดโควิด-19 ตั้งแต่เม.ย. 64 จำนวนผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 เพิ่มขึ้นจาก 100 ในเดือนเป็น 22,000 ในเดือนส.ค. ที่ผ่านมา
ด้วยเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นส่งผลกระทบต่อผู้ป่วยโรคไตเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากการรักษาเข้าถึงได้ยากขึ้น เพราะศูนย์ส่วนใหญ่ในประเทศไทยไม่อนุญาตให้ผู้ป่วยโควิด-19 เข้ารับการรักษาแบบปกติได้

สืบเนื่องจากวิสัยทัศน์ของ บี. บราวน์  ที่จะร่วมปกป้องและพัฒนาสุขภาพของผู้คนในประเทศไทย
จึงเกิดความร่วมมือขึ้นระหว่าง บริษัท บี. บราวน์ (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด และ โรงพยาบาลธนบุรี บำรุงเมือง
เพื่อรับผู้ป่วยโรคไตที่ติดเชื้อโควิด-19 เข้ารับการรักษา ณ ศูนย์ฟอกไต โรงพยาบาลสนามมณฑลทหารบกที่11 (มทบ.11)
ด้วยเครื่องมือที่ได้มาตรฐานสากล โดยรองรับผู้ป่วยโรคไตได้มากถึง 3 เตียง และเปิดให้บริการแล้วในวันที่ 9 ก.ย. 64

B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. COVID RENAL CARE CENTER

Thailand is facing a big new wave of Covid-19 since April 2021 with the number of Covid-19 patients increasing from 100 in April to 22,000 in August.
This has an impact to renal care patients because most renal centers in Thailand do not allow Covid-19 patients to get treatment with normal patients.

B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. in collaboration with Thonburi Bamrungmuang Hospital started a Renal dialysis center to provides dialysis treatments to Covid-19 patients following international standards.
The field renal center has 3 beds for dialysis treatment at Army Field Hospital 11th, opening on September 9, 2021.

With 5 renal centers across the country catering to normal renal patients, B. Braun (Thailand) Ltd. continues “To protect and improve the health of people around the world.”
